When I became a pastors wife I had no idea the amount of work involved in the job. I am a licensed psychologist and at the moment I work at a local elementary school. A few months ago my husband approached me with the idea for me to get my certification in christian counseling so I could join him in his many counseling sessions. He is a full time pastor and a lot of his time is spent in the church office counseling our members. I would love to work with my husband in marriage counseling so I dove head first into an online certification course. I was able to start immediately and when I receive my certification in a few months our churches leaders will be comfortable with my counseling with my husband. I am really looking forward to serving our church members in a new capacity and working part time in the church.
